NOTE:
[1] See “Collected Writings”, H.P.
Blavatsky, TPH, volume XIII, pages 67-68, 71-72, and 158. A favourable
commentary on the present book will be found at “Lucifer” magazine, February
1891 edition, pp. 509-512. The word “Lucifer”, it must be said, is a
pre-Christian, Latin term meaning “light-bringer”. The word refers to the planet
Venus, the morning star, and has been grossly distorted by ill-advised
theologians. Regarding Mr. Dvivedi’s writings, see other articles in “Lucifer”
magazine, April 1891, pp. 99-104 and “Lucifer” magazine, May 1891, pp. 193-200.
A commentary on his book “Raja Yoga” is published at “Lucifer”, January 1891,
pp. 423-426. (CCA)
